Our Story
Pirate Jacks sits on Lake Street where the town meets the water, and it was built with a simple conviction: the best coffee tastes better with a lake behind it, and the best cocktails taste even better after a day of doing nothing in particular.
We opened our doors for the regulars who walk in before sunrise and the visitors who stumble in after sunset. For the families, the fishermen, the folks just passing through Iowa and looking for somewhere that feels like a real stop—not a gas station with a coffee cup.
Our kitchen sources locally when we can. Our bar keeps it straightforward: good spirits, fresh ingredients, nothing pretentious. The music is yours to pick. The only rule is that you leave feeling like you spent time somewhere that actually wanted you there.
